You Know Enough

Well, another week . . . another 7 dollars or so I don't really know...

This week was kind of a quick week and was a pretty busy week of intercambios, consejo de líderes, and other little things that we have to do. The first big thing that we had to do was consejo de lideres which was Friday.  We had to get up at 6 to get to Guayaquil on time and to get back around 7ish. Honestly, it was one of the better consejos that we have had, it seemed more like a consejo trying to decide on something as a group rather than just barking out ideas and no one really deciding what to do. It was also good to see from friends in the mission and also see a bunch of new leaders in the Consejo. I think there were around 4 new leaders in a group of  26 missionaries. I'm glad it was a good consejo because hopefully the new leaders can see how good consejo is and help President Taylor get in the swing of things quickly.

Honestly, nothing else happened this week that was THAT eventful.  It was cool though.  We found a cool family on Wednesday night and said that we were coming back on Saturday to explain to them why we go to church and to invite them. They said that they would be there, but never really showed up until 9:30am, so I was kind of disappointed but not surprised until they showed up and felt pretty excited to see them come to church. We have plans to invite them to be baptized de una this week and we will see what they say. In the mission, we have been trying to invite one person a day to be baptized and Elder Clausen and I have been able to do it pretty much every single day besides Sundays and Mondays for 2 weeks. It's pretty cool to see how baptism can bless and just help every single person in the current situation that they are in.

Well, now explaining the title of the Email, there is a quote from Chapter 10 in Preach My Gospel from Neil A. Anderson that explains the promise of our calling and how if we trust Him we will send us to people or people to us and send His spirit to carry the message to the hearts of the people. That came from a talk called "You Know Enough" that was given by Elder Andersen back in October 2008 and is a very short, but fire talk explaining that we really know really little about Heavenly Father's plan and what He has in store for every single one of us, but we know enough to keep on marching and just doing the good things we can.

Transfers are coming up quick, they are the 18 of June and this transfer is flying by...
Bueno nada mas pasò entonces se queda aquí
