A Trip To The Temple and P-Day

Today is P-Day

(preparation day)

We went to the Jordan River Temple

It was a great morning!

We ran a few errands to buy some last minute items - 

water bottle, shoe shine kit, consecrated oil vial.

Such a great quote!

 

First Day of Home MTC

Keaton got up bright and early, logged into his home MTC classes and went right to work.  

He met his companion - Elder Elder.  No joke, his comp's last name really is Elder.

Being Set Apart as A Missionary

Christmas . . . the day we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and the day that Keaton was set apart to be a full-time missionary working to bring the people of Ecuador to Christ. 

Keaton was set apart this evening by President Walker.

It was a very special evening for our family. 

What a great way to end our Christmas!

 

It Won't Be Long

Keaton has been going through all of the missionary lists.  

We have laid out all of his belongings to make sure we haven't missed anything.

It is always a bittersweet sight.

It won't be long and he will be packing it all up and on his way.

Keaton's Mission Farewell

 The day has finally arrived for Keaton's missionary farewell!

It seems like he opened his call forever ago.

He has been patiently waiting for all of the mission events!

He is ready!

The basement is set up and ready!

Keaton gave a wonderful talk!

We were so proud of him!

After he spoke, everyone came over to the house for food.

It was so great to have a mix of both friends and family attend to support Keaton!
