What a Conference weekend!
Well starting off I forgot to write in my last email, but one of the APs showed up to my consejo de distrito. They were in intercambios with the LZs and decided to come to my consejo. So safe to say my heart dropped when I saw the AP walk through the door but it went all right.
This past week was a rough one just another week of knocking doors, but we were able to find some people who seem pretty interested in learning more about Christ. Lately we have been contactando with the Doctrine of Christ. Asking if the people know the doctrine is and then explaining how simple it is and leasing them with the Book of Mormón or the folleto so they can learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's definitely different but it's kind of funny to see people's faces when they realize that it is just Faith Repentance and Baptism receiving the spirit and enduring . They think it's this big long doctrine but it's really simple.
For the first time in 3-4 weeks, we finally had some people come to church. Two people came and both were found through members. One of the people that came, Jordy, was pretty interested about the Book of Mormón after the conference and seemed pretty interested to learn more.
We were also able to find a family who is pretty potente. I think there is a total of 4 or 5 in the family. I don't quite remember, but we were able to go back a second time after finding them and the 12 year old son read all of chárter 11 in the book of Mormón and also understood all of it. I have a lot of faith for them for this next transfer.
I think my favorito talk at this past conference was from Elder Gong titled "Holiness to the Lord in Everyday Life". It really showed me that as we show holiness to the Lord in our everyday life, he will bless us in all things temporal and spiritual. MOSIAH 2:41
